FINALLY--A Kool Daze Contest!!

The time has come... and it's been a while since I've hosted one. And there will be a prize! for real! I swear!!! I'm going to have a friend help me create a lovely glass shard ornament as a prize! (But if you live overseas, please think of someone in the US you wish to donate your prize to, if you happen to win--because I'm cheap... and I just got my VISA bill!!!! YIKES!)

Anyway, the contest is easy... come up with the most brilliant 2009 slogan. No cheating by stealing the slogan from your church's intercessory prayer group. You need to think of this all on your own. I'll give you a week to think about it, but don't give away your brilliance on this post. Just be thinking...

I will post a request for submissions in a a few daze. This is just a teaser. Are you teased?

Just think... your slogan could be the one to make it BIG TIME!!! CUZ I KNOW PEOPLE!!!

Looking for a Stroke of Genius

For those who don't know, Nicki and I have turned in our petitions to run for the School Board of Ed. The vote takes place on May 20th, so up until then we need to campaign and entice people to vote for us [sidenote: two seats are open and we are running as a block].

Last year three seats were open and 4 people ran. This year two seats are open and it apprears that 5 people are running. The deadline hasn't hit yet, so it's anyone's game. Two fellas got on the board last year, who have an agenda to phase out the highschool, and are suspect of aiming to close the entire district. They ran together last year with the slogan Two Joes are Better than One. So Nicki and I thought we could use the same slogan and change one letter: Two Hoes are Better than One. Terry didn't like that idea. hahaha.

We could go with the theme:

Join the new Bridgehampton 4H club!!

Through Hell or Highwater,

its Hemby and Hochstedler to the RESCUE!

They are Hilarious, yet Helpful;
Hysterical, yet Honest;
Humble, yet Haughty;
but most of all--HUNGRY!

Ok. It's a little much on the illiteration.
Can you guys help? We'll make this a CONTEST!!!!! WITH PRIZES!!!

All you have to do is leave your idea for our campaign slogan in the comment box. By Monday, 4/14, Nicki and I will decide if we want to use YOUR slogan. Just think... you could win this lovely figurine!!!

So put on your thinking caps and get to work!! And good luck. (Gold purse not included in the prize winnings).
