It's Make-the-May-Calendar Day

Couldn't my parents have stayed!!! I can't keep up with everything without them here!!!

Come back!! Come back!!!
My mom is a tremendous help to me around the house and with the kids. She's not interested in the computer, hates to be bored and likes to stay busy. She's really good at keeping things "picked up" around the house and especially in the kitchen. I tend to let those chores go until after I've finished my computer work... and computer play... and piano practicing... and trips to the post office... and maybe to the bank, or a visit to the school, and anything else I can do, before I must get the housework accomplished. Alas, this morning I saw that one of the kids!!! didn't do the dishes last night like HE WAS SUPPOSED TO. So I forced myself to unload the dishwasher early in the day and clean up the sink and counters... all before noon. If my mom were still here, that would have NEVER waited, even until this morning.

COME BACK!!!
My dad helps me stay on track with taking pictures for the 365 project, plus his love for watching the news keeps me informed. AND... he fixes things!!! (Last night, while BJ and I laid in bed trying to sleep, there were 3 consecutive showers taken upstairs, resulting in a continual trickle of drips right on Terry's head).

COME BACK, COME BACK!!!

We will feed you good food and bring you entertainment. I PROMISE!!!!

Ho hum!

Calendar day always gives me a sense of desperation and anxiety. But I must say, the final week and a half of May looks very relaxing! I'm sure it won't last long before those daze fill up. [SIGH]

8 Daze and 7 Nights of CRAZY

Everything we did was tons of fun. These pics are in random order and there are too many posted here to rearrange them.

We played pool while waiting to meet up for dinner.

We visited the piano bar frequently for sing-a-longs. Oliver was great.

Raul and Lil are just like siblings, always playing and fighting.

There were a few moments to relax and read... but we usually stayed quite active.

There was a "white night" with a band and dancing on the terrace as well as a chocolate festival.

The staff members loved hanging with us and we felt like they were a part of our gang. Lori is the second in from the right.

The ping pong table was not in very good shape but there were ping pong tournaments, regardless.

The sunsets were simply amazing.

Hey! Ewwwww!!! (its seaweed btw--LOL)

Flying First Class was the BOMB!!! Aren't those little salt and peppers adorable? I wanted to stick them in my bag.

We actually never sat at this beach. We wanted the open beach to play in... and we made sure to spend time there but not so many pictures. We were there in the morning, in the afternoon and at night (ssshhhhh about the nightswim and 2 or 3 full moons).

There was a fire dancer the first night. Only a few of us made lasted until this point in the evening. It was a long travel there without any night of sleep, but I slept on the plane and on the shuttle and probably a little bit by the pool that day. Oh... and I took a nap in the room.

This was a cabana by the pool. Our group had it for two daze. It was divine.

First day at the pool.

Got Freedom?? YESSSSSS!

We're HERE!

This was the swim-up pool bar.

It wasn't ever difficult to coax any one of us to do crazy things.

It was relaxing.

This is the beautiful view of the sunset from our room.

Our second night out to dinner. We ate most of our meals all together. No one ever wanted to miss any of the fun.

Aren't we adorable?

It wasn't always easy or possible for the restaurants to seat all 10 of us (sometimes 12) together.

We explored all of the extensive resort.

More piano bar time.

Fun at the Japanese restaurant.

Our posed picture of drunkenness. Hee.

All five women.

Aahh good times.

Piano bar with me at the piano. That was a hilarious night, as if you'd be surprised.

Relaxing by the sea.

They grow tall in Jamaica, mon.

We joined in the jamboree parade.

I won the dance contest, but not before making a total fool of myself.

We climbed Dunn's River Falls.

So, that's all I can show you. Some things need to remain in Jamaica! LOL. I wouldn't want to insight the wrath of my friends by posting pictures that they wouldn't want to be viewed by the world (since I have SOOO MANY readers).

Sandals was a great place for a vacation, but it wouldn't have been the same without our friends. They are what made it really GREAT!!!

I Have So Much to Post

...but so little time and attention to give.

I really enjoyed our time spent in Jamaica. I also really enjoyed my family for Easter dinner. My parents put together "a bunch" of pictures (ok we're talking over 1,000) and we sat and watched the TV display one after another after another. Too much fun. So many years gone by. And in random order.

Me and BJ with Luke and Nate. (Anika in the tummy).

Cousin Candace screaming because she wanted the skates back from Anika. Nate things its funny.

Luke's reading "Go Dogs Go" to his brother and sister.

Luke all dressed up for the beach.

Cousins and best of friends. Jennah, Candace, Anika (major baggie swim suit) Aubri and Elizabeth.

It's me with my girls. Caleigh, Lizzy, Jennah, Anika.

It's me with our best dog ever, Kirby.

This is my mom with her mom, whom I never knew.
This is my dad and... I think it may be his brother, Dick.

Easter time my brother, Jimmy and me.

I'll stop here, because I can't even know how to continue to pick photos out of so many. LOVE THEM ALL.

Next post may be about Jamaica. Maybe...

Bags Are Packed, My Parents Are En Route

We're leaving with our passe of ten, (no children btw) in a few hours and will be spending the next 8 daze HERE!!! The Grande Riviera, in Ochos Rios, Jamaica

We'll take a trip to the Dunn River Falls.
 Oh boy oh boy.

Maybe there will be some scuba diving but there will definitely be snorkeling and wind surfing and sailing.

But I think I want to scuba dive.

We will absolutely be hanging on the beach a lot... and in the pool with the pool bar and food anytime of day.

Hope you have a great week, too!! Hope my parents have an amazing time with the grandkids. They are excited to have a week with their grandparents. Fun fun for everyone.
